Hello, I’m Lynette, ham radio operator with the callsign PD4LYN.
My adventure in the world of ham radio began in november 2014,when I became fascinated by the possibilities that radio communication offers, far away from the internet and mobile networks. Connecting with people around the world through the airwaves quickly became a passion.
As PD4LYN, I am active on various frequencies and modes, and I am always looking for new connections. Whether I am involved in HF communication, VHF, or digital modes like FT8 and PSK31, the possibilities are endless. It’s always exciting to discover new bands and communicate with other operators, and I learn more each day about the technology and techniques involved.
Why the callsign PD4LYN?
The callsign PD4LYN is my personal signal in the world of ham radio. “PD” stands for the Netherlands, and “LYN” is an abbreviation of my name, which I proudly use to mark my place in the ham radio community.
What do I do as PD4LYN?
Besides my daily communication as PD4LYN, I am also actively involved in Radio Scouting, where I participate in various events and activities with other radio operators. I’ve even taken part in special events such as the PA80OMG expedition and the Camporee 2024 in Normandy.
My goal is to make as many connections as possible with other operators worldwide, explore new technologies, and expand my knowledge of amateur radio. I am always eager to learn and share my experiences with other ham operators.
